2014-2015

President Art Deardorff
with District Governor Fred Teichert

Our club accomplished a lot this year.  We maintained our club size of about 50 members, inducting nine new members and establishing an alternate evening meeting for those unable to attend our normal noon meetings. As usual, our scholarships and other funding has significantly benefited the youth of Lincoln, for they are our future. For the fourth year, we ran the Lincoln Wine Fest, helping to establish the identify of our downtown businesses and the wineries in our region. We started several programs to assist seniors and other needy people in our community. We contributed to several international projects, including a large donation to ShelterBox to support those displaced by the earthquake in Nepal. We gave to Polio Plus to fund Rotary's fight to eliminate this debilitating disease.  And, we had fun.
