Guests welcomed by Kim, included visiting former club Rotarian Colleen Knight, soon to be Rotarian Maria Gonzalez, Gia McNutt from the Art League of Lincoln, Jamie Wedell, Bryan Arline, and Faraz Mahmood.
Lyricist and Poet- Alan Lowe

Alan's topic today: June is recognized for love and marriage, and we can make it work. but only if we do it together. The outcome is worth the effort.
Induction and Welcome of New Member
Membership chair, Bryan Ludwig, welcomed Maria Gonzalez as a new member after an excellent review of Rotary. He spoke about the benefits and responsibilities of being a Rotarian. Kerry Callahan, as sponsor, then gave Maria the Rotary membership pin. The club welcomed Maria with applause and a standing ovation.

Events and Committee Announcements

Linda: regarding the Survivors Tea on June 15th, volunteers are needed to set up for the event on Friday at 10:00 AM. Several members volunteered. Also added that there will be a CSC meeting following the next meeting, June 13 to go over any last minute details. The Kiwanis Club is sponsoring Bingo at McBean pavilion June 12. Greg purchased a table for 10 and he'd love to have fellow Rotarians fill those seats. The Kiwanis Club has been supporting our club in fundraisers and it is important that we support theirs. Sign up with Greg if you can attend. Bryan: Toude Lincoln, October 19th, has 4 categories of miles for participants to choose from:64 miles, 32miles, 16 miles and new this year 6.5 miles. There is a new Bike Shop at the corner of Del Web and Orchard Creek that has generously donated a bike for raffle. Soon the "Sign Up Genius" will be posted for volunteers. Kim: shared details of the Kick out for Richard.
Guest Speaker
With President Richard absent, Kim McCue invited members to share some of their favorite memories of vacations, Rotary experiences and other topics. To make the process fun she had a ball that was tossed from person to person after giving their memory. Some of the tosses were actually caught. 20 members shared stories. It was a fun way to learn something new about each member.
The Four-Way Test
           The Four-Way Test
Of the things we think, say or do:
   1. Is it the truth?
   2. Is it fair to all concerned?
   3. Will it build goodwill and
         better friendships?
   4. Will it be beneficial
        to all concerned?

   5. HAVE FUN !!
