For many years, Lincoln Rotary Club has been committed to our community youth. For over 27
years, our club has supported the Interact Club in Lincoln. New this year we started a brand
new Interact Club at Twelve Bridges High School, Home of the Raging Rhinos. During our first
year, we strove for the Interact Club to be active in our Lincoln community participating in
elementary school harvest festivals, helping Santa with Santa letters, serving at a Mother's Day
Tea as well as sending Santa stockings to our troops overseas through Soldier Angels. In other
projects, we collected blue jeans and sent them to be used to make insulation.

We have great plans for this year to increase our community service and help our neighbors.
This 2022-23 the Rotary Club of Lincoln California is hosting an exchange student to Denmark.
Her name was Abby. She will head as our outbound student likely in January of 2023 and
our club we will host an inbound student, Eline Peters from Belgium. She arrives in mid-August
and will stay with us until June 2023. If you are ever interested in hosting Eline we are looking
for two host families from the months of January to June.

We have other youth volunteer opportunities also through our Project Cornerstone, a reading
program for our elementary schools. Teaching children about bullying, being an upstander,
and/or a bucket filler. Give a couple of hours per month and help kids grow into caring young
adults.
